Help & FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The calendar isn’t showing on my site

The most common cause is a missing Allowed Origins entry. Open The Everything Calendar app in your Commerce7 dashboard, go to the Access tab, and confirm your site’s URL is in the list (e.g. https://www.yourwinery.com). The URL must match exactly — including https:// and without a trailing slash.

If Allowed Origins is set correctly, check the browser console for error messages.

Events aren’t updating after I made changes in Commerce7

Event data is cached for up to 5 minutes. If you save changes in C7 and the calendar has webhooks configured, it updates immediately. Otherwise, wait a few minutes and do a hard refresh (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows).

I don’t see my reservations or club shipments

Reservations and club shipments are only visible to customers who are logged into your C7 storefront. Visitors who aren’t signed in will not see this data — this is by design to protect customer privacy.

The calendar loads but shows no events

Check the following:

  • Your Commerce7 products and experiences are published and have upcoming dates
  • The relevant event categories are enabled in the Calendar app settings (Access tab → Categories)
  • The events aren’t matched by an Exclusions rule

Can I embed the calendar on multiple pages?

Yes — use the same embed code on as many pages as you like. All pages share the same configuration.

How do I hide a specific event?

In the Calendar app settings, go to the Access tab and find the Exclusions section. Enter the event’s title (or a keyword from it) and it will be hidden from all views.

Can I use my own fonts?

Yes. In the Calendar app, enter the font name in the Heading Font or Body Font field. The font must already be loaded on your site — the widget does not load fonts itself. See the Styling guide for details.

Can I show the calendar in a different language?

The calendar uses date formatting from the visitor’s browser locale, so dates will display in the visitor’s local format automatically. Event titles and descriptions come from Commerce7 and display exactly as entered there.

Something looks broken after a Commerce7 update

Commerce7 occasionally changes API field names or response structures. If the calendar stops working after a C7 update, contact the Transom team and we’ll push a fix.
